Crafted with Care – The Warmth of Echizen Wood and Pottery
The wooden box is made using traditional Echizen lacquerware techniques from Fukui Prefecture, with Echizen washi paper lining the inside to gently protect each item.
The tea bowl, specially crafted for IPPUKUBOX, features a soft, rounded form that fits comfortably in the hands—its texture both calm and familiar.

Available in pink, green, and white, the wooden box is designed to gently complement your living or dining space.

Let's Whisk Matcha

Scoop two heaping spoons of matcha with the chashaku and place it into the pre-warmed tea bowl.
For a smoother texture, sift the matcha beforehand to avoid lumps.

Gently pour water heated to around 70–80°C.
To achieve the right temperature, transfer boiling water to another container first before pouring.

First, gently blend the matcha and water together with the chasen.
Then, whisk quickly in a rhythmic back-and-forth motion, drawing an “M” shape near the bottom of the bowl.

When the foam becomes fine and smooth, lift the chasen slightly and lightly whip the surface to even it out.
To finish, make a circular “no-no-ji” motion to gather the foam beautifully in the center.
